Our company was established in 2018 and consists of 3 French and 2 Dutch students. Lena, Alexandre and Bastien have lived in Den Bosch for quite some time now, but they encounter a lot of problems during their stay. Apparently some universities do not provide foreign students with a lot of information about the basic needs they will experience.
So we figured out already that foreign students do not have a lot of knowledge about ‘living’ in a new city, so why don’t we start with that?

The first couple of days were ,to be honest, a little bit hard. We didn’t really know where we had to start and how to cooperate properly. Because we all have different backgrounds and come from various countries, we all have some different viewpoints. So this was a big issue point we had to handle first before we could start doing research. Honestly after the first (real) meeting we realized we had a lot in common, so this could be a beautiful start of a great company. At this first meeting we came up with some obvious and basic rules.
Coming back to why foreign students do not have and do not get the right information’? We had to do some real research with more (foreign) students that lived abroad. So we made a survey for a lot of foreign and Dutch students who lived and studied in another country. And almost everybody said that they missed the ‘basic information’ about how to survive in another country. So now we have a lot of different questions about this issue.
· Why don’t they get this information?
· What information do they need?
· How could we provide this to them?
These are some questions we have to figure out if we want to have a successful company.
